About Us

Katie D. Thomas, PT, DPT, DScPT, CLT, CMPT

I am the founder and owner of Physical Therapy Complete. I graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Des Moines University in 2005. Because I have a passion for learning, I became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) in 2007 and a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) in 2010. In 2019, I earned my Physical Therapy Doctor of Science (DScPT) with a focus on post-concussion management of adolescent athletes.

Through my years of practicing physical therapy, it has become clear to me that no one injury or surgical recovery is identical. For that reason, everyone needs and deserves one-on-one care that is tailored to his/her specific needs. The passion to provide this is my primary motivation in opening this clinic. The mission of this clinic is to facilitate each patient in reaching their fullest potential through
innovative, individualized, high quality therapy services from motivated, compassionate therapists.

I have lived in Carrollton for the past 8 years with my husband and 2 children. We love to travel and enjoy nearly all sporting activities, hiking, and being outdoors.

Catherine Moncayo, MSPT

Catherine completed her Master’s degree in physical therapy at NGCSU (now called UNG) in the late ‘90s.  Following several years of practice in the hospital setting, she shifted gears into other arenas of healthcare to include office administration, EMR training, and technical writing.  Given the opportunity to return to the practice of physical therapy, Catherine re-entered her original career path as an outpatient therapist.  With a focus on manual therapy (including dry needling) and appropriate exercise regimens, Catherine seeks to help her patients return to their prior levels of function, adjust to a new activity, or welcome in a new joint!  Her exposure to multiple areas of healthcare allows her to assimilate complicated health history and determine its impact on potential outcomes.  As a lifelong “mover”, Catherine firmly believes in the importance of consistent, appropriate exercise and/or activities to maintain strength and mobility for the support of one’s future independence.

Lee Heath, MSPT

As a graduate of Rhodes College, Lee earned her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1992. For over 30 years, she has proudly served the West Georgia community, bringing a deep commitment to the health, wellness, and recovery of her patients.

Lee specializes in creating personalized treatment plans that combine manual therapy techniques with targeted exercise programs. Her approach emphasizes patient education, empowerment, and collaboration to support long-term wellness and sustainable recovery. By providing one-on-one care, she ensures that each patient receives focused, high-quality treatment throughout every phase of rehabilitation.

Beyond the clinic, Lee shares her passion for fitness by leading high-intensity boot camp classes, encouraging others to embrace movement as a lifelong practice. She believes that building both physical and mental resilience is key to a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

Tabitha Weed, PT, DPT

I felt the Lord calling me into Physical Therapy when I was in high school, so my undergraduate studies at Troy University were geared toward that goal. My family lived spread out throughout south and central Alabama, and while I knew I wanted to be close to them, I wasn’t sure where exactly I wanted to land or what setting I wanted to practice in full-time. I chose to sign as a travel PT when I graduated to gain experience in multiple settings and various locations. Over the next two years, I practiced in Georgia and Alabama in a variety of settings that included outpatient, acute care, long term care, skilled nursing facilities, and home health, with outpatient being my favorite. This ultimately brought me to Carrollton, where I signed a 13-week contract at an outpatient facility that was extended to a full year. In that time, I came to see my coworkers as family, loved the community, and met a local boy who became my husband. I signed a permanent contract and worked the next 10 years in that facility, focusing on orthopedics and becoming certified in dry needling. I recently joined PT Complete in a part-time role to allow more time to spend with my husband and toddler, and I have loved the ability to work with patients one-on-one, which allows me to design more specialized treatment programs tailored to each of my patients’ specific needs. My goal is to provide compassionate and quality care with kindness (and occasionally tough love) while shining the light of Jesus on those I encounter on a daily basis.
